There are three salient reasons why Tower of Saviors is so engrossing:
1. The match-3 puzzle gameplay. Because you are always improving and scoring higher combos the more you play, it never gets old. And Madhead is always introducing new stipulations that keeps the gameplay fresh.
2. The RPG system. Collecting cards, leveling up monsters, team maintenance, weekly events, strategizing before battles, etc. There is always something to do, some objective to be workings towards in ToS that keeps you happily busy.
3. The large cast of characters that is always growing. This is perhaps the most comprehensive roster of creatures, taken from a wide variety of mythological and cultural sources. The artwork is also preferable to that of PAD’s.
I’ve been playing this game for three months now, and for the foreseeable future, I’ve no intention of putting it down.
